The Sargent Consulting Group, LLC is an independent firm providing management advisory and litigation consulting services to attorneys, creditors, individuals, government agencies, management and turnaround advisors. Our firm was formed to meet the needs of a unique client, typically in a state of distress or turmoil. We recognize our clients depend on consistently accurate, reliable and succinct information. Our unique combination of Accounting, Investigative, Operational and Technical skills deliver solutions to complicated financial problems.
Company History
The Sargent Consulting Group, LLC was formed as a single member firm by Brad Sargent in 2009.
Brad is on the Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society's Board of Directors, is Chair of The Strategic Planning Executive Committee and serves on the Committee Structure and Volunteerism Committee. Previously, he Chaired the ICPAS Consulting Services Executive Committee and is Chair Emeritus of the American Board of Forensic Accounting. He has attained status as Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners International (ACFEI). He is also a member of the University of Illinois at Chicago Accounting Department's Executive Board.Organizations have recognized his leadership and impact by conferring the ACFEI Distinguished Board Service Award and University of Illinois at Chicago's Accounting Alumni of the Year Award to him.
In addition to the ACFEI, Brad is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Forensic & Valuation Services Section, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Association of Certified Fraud Specialists, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors and the Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society. He is also an associate member of the American Bar Association, Litigation and Criminal Justice Sections.
