Our team consists of a wide variety of proven investigators, including digital examiners, former financial crimes investigators, certified fraud examiners, workplace investigators and traditional private investigators. In addition, Hyperion retains former FBI and DEA field agents with extensive experience in undercover work.
Jordan Smith is a Certified Fraud Examiner and licensed investigator in Colorado, and Hyperion's founder. Mr. Smith is an experienced financial professional, specializing in fraud investigations and recovery, pre-litigation investigations, interviewing and report-writing.
Mr. Smith is a fluent Spanish-speaker and is experienced in conducting investigations in English and Spanish. He is extremely knowledgeable in the civil and criminal investigative processes and has insights in both civil financial and white-collar crime investigations.
Hyperion's is actively working to expand its footprint into human trafficking, sexual exploitation and missing persons investigations.
Mr. Smith is a Marine Corps Reserves veteran.

Company History
November 2015 - Founded as Jordan Smith Investigations. Primarily contracted to two agencies, Pilum Defense Agency and the Colorado Department of Revenue - Marijuana Enforcement Division.
August 2017 - Jordan Smith became a CFE.
November 2017 - Name changed to Hyperion Investigative Consulting. Began providing services directly to attorney-clients, businesses and private clients.
