Company Overview
The Credit Union of Texas is a State Chartered financial services organization. The credit union consists of a Corporate Office and ten branch offices located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area. Further information is available at our website www.cuoftexas.org.
The Internal Audit Department of the Credit Union of Texas consists of two audit professionals and the Internal Audit Director. The Internal Audit Department is located at the Corporate Office. The Internal Audit function provides an independent appraisal of key financial and operational controls. The Internal Audit Department also shares best practices that promote operational efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.
Company History
In 1931, a small group of Dallas teachers applied for a credit union charter. In the beginning, CUofTX's assets totaled only $65! CUofTX now ranks in the top 100 credit unions in the country in asset size. We serve over 180,000 members in all fifty states.
